Midnight is our very black Gerbil. We love her so much! I like to watch her run around in the cage, but I get bored pretty quick and would rather take a nap.



Chloe, on the other hand, believe she is the Evil-Eyed Guardian of the Gerbils. She can sit for hours in front of the cage watching and waiting. When they come out she pounces! Mother dearest then has to scold Chloe, just a little tho cuz there is no yelling or screaming allowed in our house!

I must apologize on behalf of Mother Dearest; she has not posted in a while and feels very bad. But she does have a very good reason.

We call him “The Porterhouse”. From what I understand, the Mom and Kiddo went to do some volunteer work with C.A.W.S and they ended up adopting Porter! He looked just so sad there in his cage, so they had to take him home.



It took him a while to get out of his carrier; Mom had to take the top off it!


But now he seems to be all over the place. He is just a kitten, only 7 month old. Mother has been trying to teach him not to jump on the countertops, not to scratch the chairs and not to sleep on her pillow right by her head! (this is not working very well, so she says, as she wakes up w/furr in her mouth!)
I will post more picture of Porter soon, its just Mom is very busy with Porter right now. But she still gives me and Chloe lots of loves too. XO

Ah, the cat tower is rather cumpfy after all, Chloe can really stretch her legs, aaaaaahhhhhhh. *sigh*


But the floor is pretty nice too!



Happy New Year everyone ! !

There is always something entertaining here at our little house. Ya cannt really tell from these pictures, but my pet Gerbils are in that cage and we are diligently watching them. Its SO fun! We used to sit on top of the cage, but Mother dearest says we are too heavy, so Grandfather made that wooden lid you see, air holes and all, so now we have to watch from the sides. Well, gotta get to watchin’!

Mother dearest and the kiddo are very sad today. Poor little Grace did not make it thru the night. She went in her house last night, fell asleep and never woke up. She was surrounded by her sisters and we know she was happy. We’s wonderin’ tho, if gerbils cross over the rainbow bridge too; we like to think so.
