Whats that you say? That furry dead thing in her mouth? aw, its just her toy, really! you can trust me . . .she won’t bite . . . bwah hah hah . . .

In our family we have a Turtle called Seaweed. Mother doesn’t post much about her, cuz she pretty much hibernates in the winter.



Seaweed happened to wake up today. You got it! Porter was exploring and found her there in her nice warm, heated cage.



snif snif snif . . .



uh oh, he made it all the way in !



Mother dearest had to take him out! however . . . he recruited Chloe! Now they are only allowed to Look !

Midnight is our very black Gerbil. We love her so much! I like to watch her run around in the cage, but I get bored pretty quick and would rather take a nap.



Chloe, on the other hand, believe she is the Evil-Eyed Guardian of the Gerbils. She can sit for hours in front of the cage watching and waiting. When they come out she pounces! Mother dearest then has to scold Chloe, just a little tho cuz there is no yelling or screaming allowed in our house!

Porter is a speedy little ManCat! Mother dearest is trying furry hard to get good pictures of him, but he keeps dodging away!



I think he is lookin’ at me rounding the corner. I am almost almost mind you, at the point where I want to chase him and play with him. I am sniffin’ him a lot these days tho

I must apologize on behalf of Mother Dearest; she has not posted in a while and feels very bad. But she does have a very good reason.

We call him “The Porterhouse”. From what I understand, the Mom and Kiddo went to do some volunteer work with C.A.W.S and they ended up adopting Porter! He looked just so sad there in his cage, so they had to take him home.



It took him a while to get out of his carrier; Mom had to take the top off it!


But now he seems to be all over the place. He is just a kitten, only 7 month old. Mother has been trying to teach him not to jump on the countertops, not to scratch the chairs and not to sleep on her pillow right by her head! (this is not working very well, so she says, as she wakes up w/furr in her mouth!)
I will post more picture of Porter soon, its just Mom is very busy with Porter right now. But she still gives me and Chloe lots of loves too. XO
