I like to sit on things ! Why just the other day I jumped up on my mothers nice new fairly expensive table, however . . . I kinda slipped off and now there are two nice patches of my claw marks scratched accross the tabletop as I tried to grab on whilst sliding off. Luckily mother dearest found out a few days later and I was only glared at. wheewh!
Here is a pic of me remembering summertime in the backyard. Its too cold to sit out there now :(

  1. Rosey,

It’s a shame about the table, but truth is, you didn’t do it on purpose and you’re Mom will understand that - even if she’s a bit disappointed. My Mom says that cats and fambly (me especially!) are more important than possessions - so the odd scratch mark here ir there is forgiven (even though she might rant a bit first!). I once scratched the paintwork, broke the kitchen bin and my new expensive china bowl ALL in one session. I was in right trouble at first I can tell you! But then Mom smooched me and I knew I was forgiven. Ha!

So don’t worry ‘cos your Mom loves you lots. Just like my Mom loves me. We’re very lucky.

  2. Rosie - you look so much like a kitty I fostered last year. She was a beautiful tortie girl!

You sound like a stinker like all kitties should be! Glad your mom didn’t get upset about the claw marks on the table.

  3. Sometimes I scratch stuff up by mistake, too. Do not worry.

  4. Accidents happen, yoo didnt mean it and perhaps a coat of spit will get rid of da scratches?

  5. Mom says they are not scratches… they are etchings made by her 2 favorite artists!

  6. As for me, you needn’t to feel shame. You do it like artists do - you add some new lines on a new table:) Creativity - is a great thing!
